If you have chosen the tren return option after your visit to Machu Picchu, the included tren is either the Expedition Train by PeruRail or the Voyager Train by Inca Rail—the only two companies that provide tren services in this area. These trens are clean, comfortable, and equipped with windows to enjoy the scenic views during the journey. Departure times are typically scheduled for 2:30 PM, 2:50 PM, or later, depending on the timing of your reservation.
For a more enhanced experience, you can upgrade to the Tren Vistadome. This panoramic tren offers greater comfort and features a glass ceiling for breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Additionally, the Tren Vistadome provides an onboard entertainment service that includes live music and traditional local dances, as well as complimentary snacks.
The Vistadome upgrade has an additional cost of $40 per person. If you choose this option, we will secure your Vistadome tren tickets for your return journey.
